Although longtime readers of these unofficial information pages will know that when you create a new user, you have to run the Audio Setup Wizard, then General Training, then the Vocabulary Builder, many new users do not realize that you should run the Vocabulary Builder.  Also, many new users do not run the Quick Tour or run it before they train which means that they tend to forget the lessons presented in the Quick Tour.

The New User Wizard addresses this problem by walking new users through the multiple steps required to create a highly accurate set of user files, step-by-step.

And, should you decline to run the Vocabulary Builder or the Quick Tour once you complete training, the New User Wizard will remind you to run it next time you start Dragon NaturallySpeaking.  This makes it more likely that a new user of Dragon NaturallySpeaking will have a positive experience once they complete the initial steps (which take around an hour in total).
