Joel Gould is currently a Director of Development at Lernout & Hauspie (L&H) of Burlington, Massachusetts. Joel was aquired by L&H along with the rest of the assets of Dragon Systems, for much less than he was worth.

Prior to the aquisition, Joel was the Director of Emerging Technologies at Dragon Systems. Joel was the architect and lead engineer for the development of the following products:

• Dragon NaturallyOrganized (1.0) and Dragon NaturallySpeaking Mobile Organizer (3.52)
• Dragon NaturallySpeaking (1.0 and 2.0)
• DragonDictate for Windows (1.0)

Before coming to Dragon Systems in 1992, Joel Gould worked at the IBM Cambridge Scientific Center where he prototyped hardware for massively parallel processors. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science also from MIT.

Joel Gould lives in Winchester, Massachusetts with his wife, Daphne, and two children, Elizabeth (12) and Benjamin (11).
